Baccarat Strategy Tip One – Bankroll

The key to any type of gambling is managing your bankroll. Don't bring more than you can lose or lose more than you intended. The recommended amount to bring to the table would be 30 times the minimum bet of the table. So, for example a $5 table would be $150. Always have a limit to the amount you want to lose. You can always leave without losing it all. This is especially true in Baccarat because of the ease of the game. Not only know when to quit behind, recognize when to quit ahead.

Baccarat Strategy Tip Two – Tie Bet

Most casino games have what is called a sucker bet. In Baccarat it is the tie bet. Yes it pays 8-1 but it also carries a house edge of 14%. The best rule is to stay away from the tie bet.

Baccarat Strategy Tip Three – The Banker Bet

Just like the tie bet being the worst bet in Baccarat, the banker bet is probably the best. With the house advantage a little over 1%, puts your chances of winning at 44.6%. Even with the 4%-5% commissions the house takes for the win. If you can find a Baccarat game with less than 8 decks, you will even have a better chance of winning.
