Casino Software / Gaming Software brands

In this section we tackle casino software suites.  Primarily what separates one online casino from the next are the games.  The casino games are provided by the software platform provider (those who provide the sofware which the games run on).  There are only a handful of major brands so it will be a good idea if you familiarize yourself with them since most of your choices will be based mostly (at least partly) on what software a particular casino uses.  In general here are the major casino software platforms / providers:

Playtech (No USA)

Realtime Gaming (USA ok)

Rival Gaming (USA ok)

Microgaming (No USA)

Vegas Technology (USA ok)

Boss Media (no USA)

Parlay Entertainment

NetEnt (Net Entertainment)

There are other casino software companies (Wizard Gaming and Top Game come to mind) but we'll review those later when they have a proven track record or there are more online casinos utilizing their software.

A couple of things to note.  USA or non-USA facing.  No since considering something that's not available.  In addition some of the software brands restrict players from specific states although allow U.S. players in general, so check their reviews by clicking a software company.  Some casinos (for instance Rival Gaming) won't allow Canadians, and you'll find other exceptions, too.   Some have bonus restrictions on players from the Netherlands.  So do yourself a favor and check each one out - it will take you a few minutes of your time but save you hours of frustration and downloading software that won't work in your jurisdiction.
